A collection of terms and their definitions associated with wikis with an emphasis on MediaWiki.
- Groups of articles in a hierarchy.
- MediaWiki is an open source / free software wiki package originally written for Wikipedia. It is now used by several other projects of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation and by many other wikis, including this website, the home of MediaWiki.
- A wiki page that maps to another wiki page either to correct a mistake or to create a synonym page or topic.
- A collection of web pages that can be created and updated through a web browser.
