Patrick’s message
With November 17 being the last Tuesday of 2009 when we can meet at Borders – Arborland, we are pleased to announce that we have successfully located a temporary meeting place until the holiday rush allows us to return to our Borders home in the new year.
Our new temporary meeting place is The Clubhouse at the Hamptons of Cloverlane Apartment complex.

The new location is quite convenient and less than 10 minutes from Borders – Arborland. There is easy access to The Clubhouse from both US-23 and I-94 and there is more than ample free parking. For those of you coming from Lansing, getting to The Clubhouse will require an additional 7 minutes of driving time.
As for specific driving directions, we recommend you use MapQuest or your vehicle’s GPS locator. Both of those methodologies will produce much more accurate driving directions that anything we could print on this page.
The Clubhouse has been recently renovated and is quite nice. Its great room includes a sectional sofa, comfortable upholstered chairs, tables, etc., and just about everything you would expect in a large entertainment room. You can bring food and beverage of your choosing. And yes, wine is fine, but bring your own glasses. The Clubhouse has its own kitchen complete with a refrigerator, range, and microwave oven. There is also a cold drink vending machine. And, of course, men and women’s bathrooms.
