The barf phase of “Lair of the Feathered Termites” has dragged out more than I would have liked.  At this point I am pushing 5000 words, but the end is in sight.  That is, if I chose to bifurcate the story and finish up the current story with the plan of coming back to it with a sequel that picks up right where LotFT leaves off.  Which is what I decided to do last night.
